TPA Chief Executive Officer Debbie Garza participated in the induction of new officers for the Capital Area Pharmacy Association (CAPA) on August 23 in Austin. The new officers and directors were congratulated on their willingness to serve in a leadership position with one of the largest and most active local affiliates of TPA.
Incoming President Jenny Dau inspired the attendees with her remarks about the need to advance our profession and for pharmacy professionals to be involved. Past President Crystal Riggs was recognized for her exemplary leadership as 2017-2018 President.
Congratulations to the following incoming officers: Jenny Dau, President; Amanda Stallings, President-elect; Gretchen Dao, Secretary; Stefanie Van Boskerck, VHC Director; Upsana Sekhar, Jenny Ji, and Tyler Hall, Directors; Carolann Obe, Technician Director; Any Jivan, UT-ASP President; and Quynh-Nhi Nguyen, Webmaster. The outgoing officers were recognized and thanked for giving their time and talents to their profession and their colleagues.
