Garza Speaks at H-E-B Pharmacy Conference

Texas Pharmacy Association CEO Debbie Garza spoke this September 26 and 28 at the H-E-B Pharmacy Conference in San Antonio, highlighting the need for advocacy and the role that associations play at the state level. During her talk, she emphasized how the changing economics of the pharmacy business are affecting the profession and outlined steps that individual pharmacists can take to make a difference.

"I appreciated the invitation to speak to all the H-E-B pharmacists," Garza said. "I'm so grateful for our partnership and proud to have an H-E-B pharmacist, Mark Comfort, as our president this year." TPA also met a number of pharmacists at the expo and encouraged them to join the Association.
