TPA President Mary Klein, CEO Debbie Garza, R.Ph. and Public Affairs Division Director Justin Hudman met this week with State Senator Dawn Buckingham, MD (R-Lakeway). Buckingham serves on the highly important Senate Health and Human Services Committee, which hears many of pharmacy's legislative issues.
“It was great to visit with my state senator” Klein said. “It’s important for us to have open dialogue with members like Dr. Buckingham, who may not always agree with pharmacy's legislative priorities.”
TPA looks forward to continuing to work with Buckingham and her staff on issues important to pharmacy.
