The Texas Pharmacy Association and representatives of other Texas pharmacy organizations met Thursday afternoon, May 31, with staff from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI). Ongoing discussions included pharmacy complaints to TDI involving “clawbacks” concerns, MAC appeals process, and the prohibition of transaction fees. TPA thanks TDI for its willingness and desire to have open dialogue with pharmacy and looks forward to continuing these discussions with quarterly meetings.
