The Texas Pharmacy Association welcomes Brian Sparks as its new Division Director, Communications and Marketing, on April 16. Brian fills a vacancy on the TPA staff and will be responsible for the Association’s magazine, newsletter, web site, and social media, in addition to providing overall editorial and graphics support for conferences, reports, and other initiatives. Brian brings nearly 20 years of experience to the role, including working with professional associations and in the health care industry. Most recently, he managed marketing and communications at Emergency Service Partners, a regional physicians group specializing in emergency medicine that serves approximately 40 Texas hospitals.
