The Texas Pharmacy Association’s Board of Directors held its first meeting of 2019 via conference call on January 17. The Board applauded positive news concerning the Association’s finances and received a report regarding the 2019 membership campaign that is under way. The Board focused on advocacy efforts in light of the current Texas legislative session, including preparations for Pharmacy Day at the Capitol and updates on pharmacy-related legislation.
The Board will meet in Georgetown February 26-27, with meetings of the Association Affairs, Financial Affairs, and Public Policy Councils scheduled for February 27.
