This is no April Fool’s Joke: next week is poised to be another good week for pharmacy in Texas! The House Committee on Insurance is scheduled to take up an important pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reform bill, HB 2231 sponsored by Rep. Tom Oliverson, on Tuesday morning, April 2. On Wednesday, April 3, the House Public Health Committee will hear several bills that address carving pharmacy benefits out of Medicaid managed care, including HB 3388 by Rep. J.D. Sheffield and HB 3401 by Rep. Richard Raymond.
If you can’t make it to Austin to register your support for these bills, fill out this petition and TPA will submit it to the members of the committee to show your support.
