TPA President Mark Comfort, President-Elect Raj Chhadua, and CEO Debbie Garza attended the quarterly meeting of the Texas Pharmacy Congress on May 7–8 in Austin, hosted by the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP).

Seven Colleges of Pharmacy convened with TPA, TSHP, and the Texas Federation of Drug Stores (TFDS) to report on their respective organizations' accomplishments, many of which celebrated student pharmacists’ and faculty achievements, participation in Pharmacy Day at the Capitol, and upcoming P4 graduations.

Legislative updates on the status of pharmacy priority bills were also shared. The meeting concluded with discussion about the visioning process, where the organization leaders brainstormed how public policy and education can come together to make our stance stronger for the next legislative session.
