Texas pharmacy professionals gathered October 2 in Harlingen to show their support for Rep. Eddie Lucio III, chair of the House Insurance Committee. Lucio fought for pharmacy by championing important pharmacy legislation involving pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), payment for services, provider status, and more during this year’s 86th Texas Legislative Session. The event was hosted by TPA Vice President Michael Muñiz, TPA Member Richie Ray, and Joe Ochoa, a pharmacist in the Rio Grande Valley.
