Industry leaders met January 16 in Austin for the first 2020 meeting of the TPA Pharmacy Partners Council. The group serves as a corporate advisory council to increase pharmacy thought-leadership in Texas. The Council provides a forum for corporate and association leaders to convene and foster robust dialogue that will broaden and strengthen shared priorities to further the pharmacy profession. This week’s meeting included a discussion of emerging trends and hot topics in pharmacy and a look ahead at 2021 legislative priorities.
Pharmacy Partners Council members in attendance included representatives from Abbvie, Alkermes, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Dynavax, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Pfizer, McKesson, Cardinal Health, Pharmacists Mutual, HEB, Walgreens, and NACDS.
