PRN Spring Seminar Addresses Recovery and Working

TPA’s Professional Recovery Network held its Spring Seminar via live webinar on May 29. Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Joseph Gorordo from Recovery Unplugged spoke about Recovery and Working: A Path to Empowered Employment. Gorordo’s presentation took an empowering approach on exploring how professionals in recovery often face even more complex challenges.

The webinar addressed stigmas, personal disclosure, and the rights PRN participants have as individuals in recovery. The webinar allowed for PRN participants to gather the tools needed for self-advocacy in the workplace to better safeguard their recovery and employment.
