Join Us for Fundraising Reception Supporting Douglas for Texas House

Having friends of pharmacy in the Texas Legislature will be key for our profession to advance our practice and protect the business during the 2021 legislative session. Will Douglas, Pharm.D., an independent pharmacy owner and TPA member, is running for office as the Republican nominee for Texas House District 113 in eastern Dallas County. If elected in November, Will would be the ONLY pharmacist in the Texas House of Representatives. Will needs your support to help Texas pharmacy put its “house” in order by electing him to the Texas House!

Join us for an online fundraising reception hosted by TPA CEO Debbie Garza on Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. In addition to hearing directly from Will about his plans for pharmacy in Texas should he be elected, we will be joined by a special guest. U.S. Representative Buddy Carter, R.Ph., (R-GA), the sole pharmacist in the U.S. Congress, will provide us an update on DIR fees and other federal legislation important to our profession.
