Statement
I am seeking a position on the TPA Board of Directors because I am your guy who is “committed to the profession of pharmacy.” I feel I have lots to offer to the Board from my years of experience and passion for the field. I have been involved with TPA since I was a student. TPA helped mold my career and it would be my honor to help pay it forward. I have had many mentors over the years; staying involved is what was ingrained in me. I use the wisdom I have absorbed from my mentors to give back to the profession and future generations of pharmacists.
I “get” the meaning of advocacy. I teach it to all of my mentees. I previously served on the Board, and since I was a student I’ve been involved with the TPA PharmPAC and started donating right away. As soon as I began donating, the rewards of my profession were abundant. I am a proud member of the “hour a month” TPA PharmPAC group and a member of the MCMLXX Society supporting the Texas Pharmacy Foundation. Again, the key is staying involved. Please consider voting for me to fill the seat on the Board. Thank you!
