Elizabeth Yett is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Tyler. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy in San Antonio, TX. Following graduation, she completed a PGY1 community pharmacy residency with Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN, and a PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in Jackson, MS.
Her practice and research interests include diabetes and cardiovascular risk reduction management, immunization advocacy, and health/technology literacy especially in the underserved patient population. She is proud to maintain professional membership in Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, American Pharmacists Association, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society.
Now back in her home state, she plans to be involved on a local level with pharmacy organizations to help promote the profession, provide guidance for future pharmacists, and stay actively engaged in the community.
