Endocrine disorders are among the most common and complex medical conditions in small animals, yet pharmacy education rarely covers veterinary medications. This session introduces pharmacists to the fundamentals of canine and feline endocrine diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and Cushing’s disease, and the medications used to manage them. Participants will explore species-specific considerations, dosing nuances, medication safety, and communication strategies that support both veterinarians and pet owners.
