
The Texas Pharmacy Association is Accepting Nominations for Board of Directors
Are you or is someone you know ready
to step into a leadership role to advance the practice of pharmacy and
influence TPA’s strategic direction? If so, consider service on the TPA
Board of Directors! TPA has seven board positions open in 2026:
- President-Elect (one-year term, followed by one-year term as President and one-year term as Immediate Past President)
- Vice President (two-year term)
- Treasurer-Elect (one-year term, followed by one-year term as Treasurer)
- 2 Pharmacist Directors (three-year term)
- Technician Director (two-year term)
- Speaker-Elect of the House of Delegates (one-year term, followed by one-year term as Speaker)
Officers' roles are outlined on page 3 of TPA's bylaws.
Interested candidates should submit the form below indicating the office(s) or position(s) of interest along with a curriculum vitae or resume by March 31, 2026. Nominations must be received by the deadline and include all requested
materials to be eligible for consideration.
Association members may also nominate fellow members. When nominating someone, please confirm that the individual is interested in being nominated, will provide you with the necessary information, and is willing to go through the election process.
The Nominating Committee will meet in mid- to late April to interview potential candidates.

About the TPA Board of Directors
The TPA Board of Directors is the sole governing authority and fiduciary of the Association. It shall serve as the Board within the corporate laws of the State of Texas. The Board is composed of 13 voting members and five non-voting members as follows.
Voting members: President, President-Elect, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Treasurer, Speaker of the House of Delegates, six Pharmacist Directors and one Pharmacy Technician Director.
Non-voting members: CEO of the Association who serves as Secretary of the Board, Treasurer-Elect, Speaker-Elect of the House of Delegates, Chair of the Independent Pharmacy Academy, and Chair of the Academy of Student Pharmacists.
