Dr. Saroj Rai has extensive experience in research & development of new pharmacotherapies and vaccines. In addition to her private sector experience, she has been with DSHS cumulatively over seven years and has held different positions including, Immunization Branch Manager. She was recently promoted to Senior Scientific Advisor in the Office of the Chief State Epidemiologist. She received her PhD in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the Ohio State University and her MPH from the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center.
